Harp Gathering Staff
Jennifer Meehan has been the Administrative Assistant for the Harp Gathering since its debut in 2008 when she was a graduate student studying arts administration. Since then she has completed her master’s degree and has become a licensed funeral director in the state of Ohio. Jennifer is employed as a director with Hoening Family Funeral Homes. She began playing the harp at the age of fifteen under the instruction of Denise Grupp-Verbon. These days, Jennifer performs at various churches and social events and has begun teaching private lessons. Jennifer is an active member of Toledo’s Point Place Shoreland Community where she has been a life long resident. She is a member of the Point Place Business Association and has been elected to a second term as President of the Legacy Community Foundation.
Carin is a Professor at Clark State College where she teaches students to be helping professionals in the field of mental health and addiction recovery. She has been a licensed therapist/treatment provider for the past 25 years. As strong as her passion is for her work, rescue from that stress for her comes in the form of music. She was a trumpet player for 15 years, and her family legacy is a love for music as her parents and sisters were all musicians. She fell in love with the harp community and is honored to be a member of the Harp Gathering family.
